J Srinivasan
J.Srinivasan is an Indian Politician belonging to All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam the party founded by Puratchi Thalaivar Bharat Ratna Dr. MGR and groomed by Puratchi Thalaivi J.Jayalalithaa after his demise.
He currently serves the party as its Joint secretary of the MGR Youth wing. He started his political career in 1989 and has held various key positions within the party. Srinivasan is a businessman by profession, and he is also a people welfare activist, orator, a fine sportsman, and philanthropist. He is known for his accomplishments of implementing welfare schemes in the city as part of the positions he has held as a ward secretary and later the deputy mayor of Tiruchirapalli City Corporation.
He hails from the city itself and belongs to a entrepreneurial family. He completed primary education in ponniah higher secondary school and did higher studies in Jamal Mohamed College,Trichy. After entering active politics, he began playing a key role in the City Corporation, as part of which he won elections thrice (2001 & 2006 - 24th Ward, 2011 - 22nd Ward, Tiruchirapalli City Corporation, Tamil Nadu). He was also elected the Zonal Chairman for Ariyamangalam zone twice in 2006 & 2011.
